Creating a job

Creating a job

Go to Jobs → Add New Job.

Start by choosing the customer.

By default, Brisk copies the customer's address and map pin onto the new job. You can then change the address or clear the map pin if the work is taking place somewhere else.

You'll configure things including:

  • Job title
  • Customer reference
  • Billing model
  • Job Officer
  • Assigned users
  • Customer Contact
  • Job Contact
  • Start and due dates
  • Work Groups
  • Job address and map pin

Billing model

Choose between:

  • Time & Materials
  • Fixed-fee (Service/Callout)

Fixed-fee work also uses a Service Charge.

Job Officer and Assigned Users

The Job Officer is the person responsible for overseeing the job.

Assigned Users are the people involved in carrying out the work.

These aren't the same as scheduling: somebody can be assigned to a job without being booked to attend on a particular day.

Once the job is created, use Jobs → Job Schedule to put it onto the diary.

Search for the job and drag it onto the appropriate employee and date.
