Customers, contacts and job locations explained
There are four related things worth keeping separate.
Customer
The person or company you're doing the work for and normally invoicing.
Customer Contact
A person associated with that customer.
For example, a property company might have:
- Accounts contact
- Property manager
- Contracts manager
Contacts can be linked to more than one customer.
Job Location
The actual address and map pin where the work is taking place.
This belongs to the job, not the customer.
Job Contact
Someone associated only with that particular job — for example, a tenant at the property.
They don't need to be permanently added to the customer's contact list.
Brisk doesn't use a separate Sites list. For customers with multiple properties, simply set the correct location on each job.
